Startup Week

Since its launch in 2018, the ASEAN-Korea Startup Week has been an annual program organized by the ASEAN-Korea Centre. ASEAN-Korea Startup Week recruits promising ASEAN startups to network and engage in capacity-building with counterparts in Korea.

The flagship program of the ASEAN-Korea Startup Week is a Pitching Contest where startup participants from all ASEAN Meamber States compete for a cash prize and a sponsored trip to Korea to attend NextRise, one of the largest startup festivals in Asia.

In addition to the Pitching Contest, the Acceleration Program was launched in 2022 to strengthen the capacities of ASEAN innovators and provide a networking platform for ASEAN and Korean startups.
